Tacos were first made in **Mexico** by the **Aztecs**. They used corn tortillas to hold meat, beans, and vegetables. In the **1900s**, tacos became popular in the **United States**, and now there are many different types, including **soft tacos, crispy tacos, and fish tacos**.

Despite their name,French fries were actually first made in Belgium in the 1600s. People there fried potatoes and ate them as a side dish. When American soldiers tasted them during World War,they called them “French fries” because Belgium speaks French. Today, they are one of the most popular fast foods in the world!
